How do I get a validation code?

How do I get my validation code for TM2 Stadium so I can spend planets?

On my player page it asks me to enter my player key but I don't have one...

I bought the game on Steam and can't find any key...

edit - I have just found my 5 character validation code in an email back when I bought TM2 Canyon from Maniaplanet. This does not work.

Are both games link to the same player login ? If so I can't see it not working.

I do not use Steam, but I can imagine somehow, u can get your key from there.

They both use the same login.
I can't find any key in Steam.

I also should add that even though I bought it on Steam I don't run the game through Steam anymore as the multiplayer browser menu was laggy. So I uninstalled from there and reinstalled through Maniaplanet.

The game key you can find in Steam in the game property page, as "CD Key".

I found the CD key link on Steam over on the far right of the screen.
