I want an option to ignore the color codes in nicknames.
The reason is my eyes.

Players decide to customize their nickname as they want and unfortunately there is no option to turn off colored nicknames

that's why he asks it

at least something to disregard the "size" parameter on player names would be nice.
hope this finds its way into the game at some point.

had two of those jokers with max size and probably max letters if there is anything like that on a server and everytime they killed each other the line took a third of the middle screen part from left to right. of course with all sorts of colors.
quite annoying.

Tbh, i would prefere red & blue names ( team colors ), but i dont care that much.

OK, I give you an example:
A player name who did specify in the color code that his whole nick is
- wider
- has each letter alternating between red and blue

Now imagine this displayed over his head, in the left corner of the screen (chat), in the leaderboards. Seems trolly to me.
