We have always loved the creativity that comes from the community and we want you to show off your skills that you have developed over the past 10 years!

Please feel free to use this thread to ask any questions that you may have about submissions or contest rules.

A real nice competition

Its only a bit strange that in the "Track Creation Rules" a picture of a Canyon track is shown and underneath the picture the following rule is stated: Players may only use TrackMania2 Stadium. Track Creation Rules

I hope this rule can be changed because 10 years of trackmania should include all games, not only TrackMania2 Stadium.
Perhaps you guys can explain a bit more why only TrackMania2 Stadium can be used. Further one its a great idea to have this contest!!!

I apologize for any confusion with the image. That was not our intention.

We wanted to do Stadium so we have a consistent and uniform environment for judging. Comparing a Valley track to a Canyon track to a Stadium track would require a more robust set of criteria for judging.

Where do you see that? I've gone through all three rules and it doesn't say that only certain countries can take part. o.O

About the countries: When you download the official rules at nr. 2 you see this:

ELIGIBILITY: the Promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (and the District of Columbia), Brazil, Canada, France and Germany who are at least thirteen (13) years old at the time of entry and who have a current Uplay.com account.

Question for videos:

1) Are we allowed to use music from the older Trackmania games?
2) Are we allowed to use custom skins?
3) Are we allowed to use custom mods?

Videos may only use music from the TrackMania OST (Original Sound Track), or from any open source project. Copyrighted music may not be used without the express consent of the copyright holder.

And the only requirements for videos is that it is all Trackmania 2 footage (in-game, or official trailers). So yes, custom skins and mods are allowed.
