Good afternoon,

Since last week I have lost about 5000 LP from my account. I gain lp and every few days they took lump sums of about 2500 from me each time. My login name is chomper. Been playing EU matchmaking and was above 94000 lp... please explain why this is occuring??

As far as I know this happens on purpose to balance the higher end of the ladder (from > 50k or > 60k) to prevent multiple people sharing #1 with 100k LP.

That has nothing to do with my situation.. NA players were 5000 Lp behind me or more. No one was fighting with me for first.

There is no Balancing in the ladder system in ShootMania, as far as I know there is no way to lose Ladder Points, you can only gain Ladder Points.

Afaik, as for trackmania, the "nadeo style" ladder works as TGYoshi stated.

At the end of the week (monday morning CET) there is a balance and only #1 has 100k and others less... There is no bug chomper... Maybe the LP computation troubles some of you but this is the way it works... LP substraction under some criteria each week, welcome to the ladder system

Maybe some nadeo member can clarify all this by saying the exact "fourchettes" of LadderPoints/Players or if there is something different to trackmania ladder (appart there are no RoC servers)

50.000-59.999 LP/100.000 players
60.000-69.999 LP/10.000 players
80.000-89.999 LP/1000 players
90.000-100k LP/100 players

Elite players can play on 0/100 000 matchmaking servers for all the week. So many players can win more than 100 000 LP and much more than 100 000 LP. For example, the first ranked player had scored more than 107 000 LP last week. and lost around 7 000 LP to normalize the ladder at 100 000 LP. So from now players can lost more LP than before because of the higher ranked servers opened on the Elite matchmaking.
