[Error 10053] Help! Connection to failed or disconnected...

Game: Shootmania Elite Demo... Yesterday, I started playing and everything was fine. Didn't restart my computer or anyhting. Played serveral times yesterday. Until later that day. I started the game once again and picked the server. Everything seems fine and... joining the server and then this error comes up. Just appeared from nowhere. Thought it will go by for today. And yet the error remains. Have tried restarting computer. Restarted the router I have here. Living in a student hostel. So I think I can't do much from here. I just wonder why this appeared. Was planning to buy it. But why waste if I can't even play. :S Nice game though.
EDIT:Did a reinstall now too... still nothing :/ Hope someone knows what to do.

8GB RAM

Please try to reduce the connection bandwith in the advanced network settings.
If this still does not help, switch off P2P as well, since this usually uses many ports.
