You're not online![fixed]

Hey community

hope you can help me

since some days when i try to start the game it says :

"You're not online.
You can't either login or use all gamefunctions.
We advise you to connect to the internet " ( translated by me cause it's in german )

but at the same time i'm online in facebook and teamspeak...so the connection can't be the problem
already reinstalled the game and switched firewall off...but no success.
next week starts the ESL CPS 12 and i'm registered.
So hope you can help me fast with my problem so that i can still take part.

1. make sure that the Internet Explorer is not constantly offline (this happens if you use different browsers).
Open IE, open the extended file menu with ALT+F (in the German version: ALT+D like Datei),
and remove the check on "Offlinebetrieb".

2. Check if you're not using applications which might block the main ManiaPlanet ports, like Mumble, Skype, TeamSpeak and others.
First start ManiaPlanet, and only after it start your chat application.

3. Reduce the bandwith available to ManiaPlanet in the advanced network configuration, and also check that the other applications are not taking too m uch of the bandwith.
Especially if you have (A)DSL, the upload bandwith is usually much less then the download bandwith.
