As it is not quite clear to me what exactly if Planets gonna be a free of payed playmoney, is still wonder what can be done with the existing Coppers. We have saved for a long time in the beginning to start a 100K server, but unfortunally when we got to that point, no more 100K servers where admitted. I really hope there will be an exchange for coppers to planets in whatever form will possible, because i would be unhappy to start such a saving again ....

That would be nice, but knowing that TMF will be a game besides ManiaPlanet and TM2 (TMF will not be intergrated in MP and it will remain supported), I doubt that it will be the case.
But I really hope so too....

Nah, i really hope that with TM2 everything will be new and no connection to TM1 achievements will be left.

It still would be new and independent, the question is if there some conversion option possible

if it's true that planets will stand for actual real money (not sure if this is right, but this was assumed by nadeo some time ago), then it's obvious that copper-planet conversion is impossible.

30k coppers = 1 TM account
Why wouldn't it be possible?

Because it would be a stupid move on Nadeo's side that would cost them, and Ubisoft, income. Ubisoft wouldn't allow things that cost them income

...and since 30k coppers is not a TM account anymore. that offer was over a long time ago already.

...They made (and are still defending) the money-sucking DRM...

I'm sure it won't be possible, because there are billions of coppers in TMUF. Then they would make only very little money. It would be too stupid of Nadeo/Ubi, if they'll allow that
