I really like the decision to wait with Questmania. On the other hand I want to see what it is all about
But please Nadeo don't make an Obstacle demo, this will only scare players^^ Besides, with "super demos" the community can create demos of custom titles themselves, so I think there is no need for it, to provide it from your side.
Consider a Royal demo instead, that would be a good contrast to Elite: competitive vs. casual-but-still-somewhat-competitive.

Anyway, can't wait for Maniaplanet 3 to impact in our ManiaUniverse!

I think too that a royal demo is required. It's a completely different style and brings back the mass of players felling from tm for some people.

In Open Beta I have seen a lot of players playing Obstacle only. They never really played any other modes for the whole Open Beta.
Just the fact that you don't like it, and I don't like it either, doesn't mean other people also do not either.

Also, if there should be more than one Demo, it wouldn't be too bad to throw in a movement-based gamemode into the mix, since Shootmania benefits from its unique and fun movement mechanics. Showing people what you can do here besides shooting would only get more people interested.

Love the interview, still, when is the release of ManiaPlanet 3? Any hints?

Hylis said in a different interview somewhen after the 15.12.2013 (because the LANniversary of TrackMania is on the 14.12. and they have plenty of things to prepare) and 15.2.2014, but as we know, dates are never precise until they really release something

Did Hylis really say "This is a fuckng great achievement" ?

an obstacle demo would be good for having a solo part with medals etc.

it's easier to get into this for many people.

I am thinking of another mode as well, but need to make it at the studio before knowing ^_^
