Can someone point me in the right direction to find where the Valley Car engine are as I want to use them in my car? Try as I may I cannot find them .. or my usual TM cache I reformatted the PC and after Windows was installed I downloaded the TM2 Demo and installed it.
I signed in & tried Valley first and all went well so I tried the TM2 Canyons and TM2 Stadium Demos. To my surprise, MP recognised that I had already purchased both Canyons and Stadium and asked to download the extra game files so I didn't have to install them separately .... No sign of those Valley engine sounds tho (the Valley Car on ManiaPark has a different sound)

In the cache you will find only dynamically downloaded or calculated contents, but not original game files.
The engine sounds are most probably well hidden in TMValley.pak unfortunately.
You can check the other TMValley*.ZIP but there are no engine sounds there.
Also not in TrackMania*.zip, although Canyon engine sounds are.

Do you know how to open a pak file?

Nope, its Nadeo proprietary format, and not a ZIP renamed to PAK like it is for Quake engine based games.

It's a pity. We would have made cool stuff with.

A pity but many thanks anyway TMarc. Maybe someday Nadeo could release the Engine Folder as a download sometime, or make the full Nadeo Valley Car, with all files, available on ManiaPark.
