I know that the quality is bad, but whatever, just wanted to share this with you

Funny, but honestly, uploading a replay would have been sufficient

Would it be?

You'd have to download the replay, copy it to a certain directory, open up the game, load replay editor, play around with the camera and finally watch it.

Would anyone bother enough to do so? Don't think so Making a YT video out of a replay - such as this one - takes me ~7 minutes. Worth the time, really

Everyone is wondering and complaining about slow downloads and high ping in the internet.
Guess why: because any kind of dumb stuff is streamed all the time, soon in 4k HD, and this causes lots of issues.

I don't say that the YT content is generally waste, but with the replay files we have a better solution already now that that helps keep the data storage and transfer times lower

With the install&play feature like we have for maps already with the maniaplanet:// protocol, you can see this working fine on Mania Exchange, it would be only one or two clicks only to watch it.

But thats only knitpicking

Youtube link: One click > Watch

Replay: Download > Doubleclick the replay > Login to game > Press watch > Go out of the replay since you realized you can't watch it that way > put replay in maniaplanet folder > update replaylist (if game is still open) > pick simple editor > watch

You tell me what's easier and most worth your time (Sorry if it seems like I try to insult you in any way. That's not my intension)

But you know, this forum is also partially accessible inside ManiaPlanet, and there a click on a replay should work directly. It's only a idea

I dont agree with Tmarc at all.
Also, for me the internet isnt slow at all and I think that in 2014 we all can watch a low res video of 11seconds.
