Hi guys, i ran alone around a map today and discovered that attacker has a slightly higher jump then defender, is it true, and if yes - why?

yes its true.
I think its because defenders can jump higher using rocketboost.

Im not sure , but I think im right.

Well actually my argument didnt make any sens... Even if you use rockets you still cant get that high as an attacker.
Ive tested it myself.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say NO to this one (No idea why novatinox would say yes to this) simply because I have never, on any map, experienced not getting some place as attacker but not as defender (or vice versa)

Ofcourse, if you're talking about the red staminablocks, then this would be true because attacker has more stamina than defenders, thus they can jump higher on them.

But regular jumps? I don't think so.

A gamemode script cannot influence the players movement btw. Only the amount of stamina.

This man asked if attackers jump higher than defenders... I simply said yes and that i had the same experiences...

The rest about gamemodes not bein able to affect the players movement wasn't referring to you.
I'm just saying, Elite as a gamemode cannot provide different players with different movements. Movement is the same globally in Shootmania Storm.

The only difference is, as sadzealot said, the amount of stamina each player has. And it's a common fact, that the defenders have slightly less stamina than the attacker. So if you have problems getting at places as defender, than you might need to improve your stamina management.
