This lamp shouldnt be there or at least it should be different.

//Edit: forget this, it's not the case here ;)

short story:
the map editor only allows to place blocks at/in positions where they fit together and adjusts their variants (lights, no lights, etc.)
with external unofficial tools you can open up these restrictions (to mix blocks together or into each other)
this leads to unexpected (sometimes ugly) results

so you can't blame the game for others creating ugly content with "cracks/hacks"
basically the same as if you would blame the game for showing inappropriate avatars

I can go to say this is possible without blockmixing, try it for yourself.

Think the devs just missed this out at the time of restricting block combinations. Though this would have been back in Alpha :roflol:

It is possible without blockmixing. The lamps are indeed sticking out.

I've come across this serveral times in the editor, I really like how you can place this light block so freely, and most of the time it just works out without being ugly. I think it's just the mappers obligatory to not place these lights like this. it's also almost impossible to miss when you place that block like that.

Same goes for "Castle center decorum blocks" (4-1-2, 9-2-2, 9-4-2) for example.
