Hi there!
I just want to ask you about the codecs:
Which one is the best from the default installed ones?
Can I download better codes? Plase tell me some...
I have no idea about them and I have been using Intel IYUV, and these are the results:
My videos in Youtube
These are the defalut installed in my computer:
- Full frames (no compressing)
- Microsoft Video 1
- Microsoft RLE
- Intel IYUV
- Cinepak by Radius
- Intel IYUV (again, don't know why...)
Hope you can help me!

H'lo (-:,
First, when rendering from the game, use the 'full frames' option. True that the video files are heavy, but it gives a maximum quality.
And then, rendering from an editing software(in example Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere, or others), I suggest you to use Xvid mpeg 4.
Voila.

I use
Lagarith to render out of ManiaPlanet.
And h.264 mp4 to render out of Vegas/Premiere.
One feature of MediaTracker that can really come in handy is "Editing Cut". It's a block/clip that you can add to the timeline. Whatever you place it over, it'll only render that part of the replay. That's very convenient for rendering only the selected portions you want out to video. Saves a lot of time and hard drive space.

I completely agree with you. I thought me too that it can be useful.

And what if we're not rich like you, Purification?

What's our "free option" for rendering?

It isn't a matter of wealth

, Vegas and Premiere have 30 trial days, altougth Xvid mpeg 4 is absolutely free.

Well, I knew the video codec was free, they usually are

But thanks for letting me know about the trial times--that might come in handy ^_^
