I seen this image on Google the other day, Why cant we get the pole to look like that? never seen like that before! Might be a alpha pic yet looks better then the pole we have atm imo.

That's the pole from pre-alpha. Not sure if it was in early alpha as well. There were a few blocks back then that looked cool that never made it to the final product. Would be nice to have different choices of the skin of some blocks

Wow, never watched that vid, but I love the advertising. Girls, Pro-players of CS, awesome stage, casters... GG NADEO/Ubi.

I made a post somewhere that Elite could have other objectives too. I dunno what exactly, but I think its a good idea.
Different poles would be cool too

@HAV yeah that pole looks sick, but its not rly that big of a change.

Its that not big a change, agreed! yet it just looks better imo. BRING BACK THE OLD POLE NADEO

The pole from pre-alpha was great.

I think they changed the shape of the pole because they changed the whole style/theme of the blocks. The general theme became more a ''castle-style''. The look of the pre-alpha pole might fit more in a futuristic/arena atmosphere than in a castle atmosphere.

In my opinion, the old pole would not fit with the rest of the blocks. But it was good. An old good block removed was the wood bridge. You can some in the old trailer.
