Hi.

Got a small problem. I kind of gave up on the game since it was in a deplorable state, saw the patch, wanted to play it again, so I install it from Steam. No big deal until I launch the game. It just asks me to restart MP every time. I deleted the game completely, profiles, etc..., reinstalled it, same shit.

Any idea why it does that? Or is it just the classic "We broke everything again" Nadeo style?

Since Steam doesn't run as admin, and you need admin privileges to install the update, it won't work. You can either launch Steam in admin, but you'll run into some crashes since Steam isn't made to run like this, or just go to http://player.maniaplanet.com and download the game from there until it's fixed.

C:\.....\Documents\ManiaPlanet\Config\updater_files.txt ?

I installed the game directly via the link I gave, so it works now, but as usual, it's just a problem with the admin rights on Windows with Steam. Already had that happen in the past.
