1v1 Duel mode (Quake...ish style)

So, I started this thread mainly becaus I have noticed that not that many know that this mode even exist. So it´s more a tip for all of you who wants a good duel mode.

It´s called Arena Duel, or Interface (for some reason), and it´s 1v1 with the weapon pickups that we have seen in modes like 'Combo'; Rocket, Laser (Railgun), Nucelus, Arrow and Armor.

The main difference from the Quake-style format is that only ONE of the player can have the Laser, Nucelus or Arrow. For example, player A picks up the Arrow when it spawns in the beginning of the round, player B then kills him, but player A still has the Arrow when he respawns. But when the Arrow-pickup respawns, player B is the first one to pick it up and as soon he does so, player A loses his Arrow, and player B now has it until player A steals is back.
And so it works for every weapon, with the exeption of Rocket and the armor.

It´s a fantastic mode, but as I mention, not many people play it, or even know about it...

So, how do you get this? Sadly, you can´t get it from the store, like most of the other gamemodes. But you can either search for it in the serverbrowser, and the game will tell you that you have to download it and simply follow the 'show info' link. Or you can go to the top you your ManiaPlanet menu-screen (where you have you friendlist, sound levels and options. And to the left of your friendlist you have three dots like this [ ... ] there you can type 'Interface', and it should download automatically.

I hope that more people start playing this. It doesn have many servers at the moment, but perhaps that can change with some more players comming in.

NOTE! This is a repost from a thread i made on the Steam-forums. But those seems to be that active, so I made a thread here too.
I'm sure more people know about this mode here, but maybe someone don't. And I'm sorry if this has been posted earlier.

Hello!

Arena Duel is now in Store ;)

Note: Please, don't compare my mode to Quake. PLEASE. XD I use duel basics, which mainly comes from Quake, but I tried to do my best to not make it too much "Quake Like".
As said on the previous post, if you want to play Quake Like, just go on Quake (or on the dedicated Title Pack ^^)

Bye bye !

Good to hear that it's on the store now!
My intent was not no compare it to Quake. I like the stuff this mode does differently, and I think you did an amazing job with it! It's just easier to explain the mode with something people can relate to.

Also glad to see that some new servers has come up too!
