Hey,
Just wondered why putting a check in the box for enabling Multithreading causes lag (makes video worse not better)?

Some games are not optimised for multi-threading.
There are other areas where shootmania acts "strangely" with hardware though:
It may be a problem specific to nvidia GPUs, but if I render a replay with SLI enabled, all dynamic lighting and particle effects only render on half the frames. The game renders each frame alternately on each GPU. Nvidia control panel allows you to choose GPU 1, 2 or CPU to render physx on, and any frames rendered on the GPU that isn't tasked with rendering physx won't have any particle effects or dynamic shadows.
Not cared to check in game, but I'm guessing that if I switched from using default SLI rendering (GPUs render half the frame each) to alternate frame rendering (frame 1 GPU 1, frame 2 GPU 2, frame 3 GPU 1, etc), I would get a similar problem, with effects /lights only on half the frames while playing.
