Hi!
Im new to this forum so i don't really know where i can write this topic (move it somewhere if its wrong).
So when im playing shootmania storm my game gets freeze after playing one round, sometimes two or three etc etc. It's just probably a simple crash but it freezes my screen and only one thing i can do is ctrl + alt + delete... I have no idea how to fix it, could you help guys? (it's full version of shootmania storm, but when i had demo it was the same).

My PC:

Intel i5-3470
8 GB RAM
GTX 660

I guess your PC is running fine with any other game?

Are you using a special gamepad?

One user reported of issues (freeze/crash after e.g. 10~15minutes of playing).
After installing the 32bit version of gamepad drivers, those crashes disappeared.

If this is not your issue, please download the debug version (see the link in my signature below), extract it and place ManiaPlanet_Logs.exe aside maniaPlanet.exe.
Now run ManiaPlanet_Logs.exe until it freezes again.
Then after restarting your computer, please see in your own documents\ManiaPlanet if you have text files like these:
crashlog.txt
freezedectect.txt
ManiaPlanetLog*.txt (example: ManiaPlanetLog-2014-08-03-18-37-44.txt).

Please copy their content and paste it here using the Code button in the message toolbar.
Or upload and indicate links to the files.

Had a maybe similar problem the last few days.
My screen froze at mapchange and stood black, while the sound was still running.
After updating my graphic driver everything was fine again.
Maybe that helps.

@TMarc Of course my pc works fine with other games, im not using any "special gamepad" also.
About that maniaplanet_logs i didn't understand some parts but i think you mean this: http://speedy.sh/Q38Xp/LOGS.rar (txt files that were in my documents/maniaplanet folder).

@niku I have everything updated so it can't be the problem.

Please help me guys, these freezes really pisses me off, can't play because of this.

Are you running other programs? Did you try to choose settings for having a very fast display in the game launcher? Did you try to disable the P2P?

oha, it looks like you're running the debug version (maniaplanet_logs.exe) with the Steam version.
Perhaps Windows automatically launches the debug version if it finds only this exe in the same folder.
And from the logs (thanks for them btw.) I can see it crashes at a very early stage.

At least a while ago the debug version was not working at all with Steam, I'm not sure if it is still like this.
Therefore please check if you have ManiaPlanet.exe there (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\ManiaPlanet_SMStorm\).

If it is not there, look if there is a file like ManiaPlanet.tmp and rename it to ManiaPlanet.exe.
If you don't want to fiddle around, I recommend you to uninstall ShootMania from Steam and install it again.

@Alinoa I'm runing programs like torrent or java, i will close them and try but i think it's not the reason. I tried every graphic settings so that's not the reason too.

@TMarc Yes, i have ManiaPlanet.exe in shotmania's folder. I don't know why i didn't try reinstalling the game yet, but i'll do this and write if im still getting freeze.

Ok guys, so i reinstalled shootmania again and im still getting freezes, but i've got ANOTHER problem that happened yesterday. I just can't write anything on chat, when im pressing enter nothing happens except appearance some icon in bottom right of the screen, here's SS: http://screenshooter.net/100098277/wkljjba

I really don't know what should i do now... i want to play w/o freezes because it's awesome game and i want to fix my chat!

did you already try to rebind the chat key to something else (if it is free, e.g. T or C)?
At least please check which key is acutally bound to chat in your profile, input options.

chat: Enter
chat to all: T
Open/Close chat: C

Seems like everything is okay... but still my biggest problem is getting freezes/crashes.
