After Race Outro Problem with MT

Hi all,
Is there someone that can help me with the following:
I place a 'clip in a Trigger' along the race route. The clip fades out and delivers a text msg and continues to stay this way until the player respawns (this is ok, and is what supposed to happen).
The problem is during the replay (Outro) of the race after the race is completed, we watch the replay and during the replay the clip plays here also, only... it continues to play and I can't view the rest of the race (even though the car is still racing) until the car goes through another trigger, then I can see the car racing again...
Seems to me that this should not happen during replay, only during the race. Am I wrong?
I need help understanding this ....
