Please ! Put information onto a central place

Dear TM Team ....

All important informations are distributed all over the whole space.

maniaplanet-forum, mania carpark, mania exchange, github, wiki, steam .....

You can find little pieces of informations everywhere .......
I have to search and collect the information i need for a couple of hours just to get a mod to work !
Or read 5 sites of Forum text to get maybe some good informations. And than there are guys who says maybe and not it is !

That cannot be ! They need to be on a central place with a good overview !

You have done a good job with your changes made to MP.
But stay at your work !

The wish is certainly comprehensible.
But this is certainly not the task of Nadeo to do it.
They will definitely not merge every information from this forum, other forums and especially other sites driven entirely by the community like ManiaPark together.

Nadeo says: put content to the documentation site if you like: https://github.com/maniaplanet/documentation

For a start, lets have at least a page with good & helpful links there, instead of recopying all the other stuff again and again to the x-th page.

The ManiaPlanet documentation is a good start.
If anyone needs any help on how to contribute, the documentation has a CONTRIBUTING page which explains the basics.
Should there be any further questions on how to do certain things, feel free to ask.
I'd also link the site about "GitHub flavored Markdown" - which is essentially the formatting "language" for the Documentation, but I'm currently writing this on my phone. Just google it

the thing with tm-creative, er... what it did well, was that the home page was really well organized/sorted and there was a link to do pretty much anything you could want to do on the home page.

you didnt have to raid some wiki somewhere. you didnt have to sift through some documentation.

it was simple, anybody could have learned how to mod trackmania from there. that is why it was such a valuable tool to the community.

it was not that it had the information, the information is readily available elsewhere. but what tm-creative/mania-creative did perfectly was in its presentation of information, and that is what needs to be replicated, by anyone.

it being closed down was a massive blow because there was nothing quite like it.

if the site werent even updated it probably would still be relevant to this day.
