eXpansion Analytics. Do you agree

Hi,

At the moment reaby and I have no way of tracking the number of servers using eXpansion nor some more information like most used gamemode... Having this information would make it easier to decide what to work on with priority. This is where comes a tool for us the core-developers.

More information : https://github.com/eXpansionPluginPack/ ... -analytics

You can already collect quite a bit of this info (but in a different way) from the Dedimania TM2 Stats site:
http://dedimania.net/tm2stats/?do=stat& ... r=TOOL-ASC

Just don't kill it with excessive queries.

Want to store it, or won't? ;)

Unless you're getting into building construction, I presume you mean 'whole' thing. :)

Thanks ^^ will fix the mistakes. and yes we won' keep logins

we do use the dedimania website from time to time, but we don't have any information on ShootMania servers :) and as our system is also used by trackmania servers which don't use dedimania(FB's weekly race, the PMC and a few others) it isn't the best way to check it up :)
The project isn't really 100% usefull :roflol: I gives me motivation to learn elasticsearch, data visualisation has always been something I like to do and why not do it while learning some bases on elasticsearch.

Edit : since when are you using eXpansion XD don't vote nooo, well AC5 is coming out so maybe it is for the best

Hey, the feature has been added to the dev branch, will see what happens. Waiting for at least my servers to fill some data to have graphs.
At the moment it isn't possible to deactivate, but it will be,

eXpansion Analytics have been integrated to the server controller. I added more information here : https://github.com/eXpansionPluginPack/ ... -analytics as promised it can be easily disabled in the configuration :D
So I close the topic, :)
