It should have something to do with the password entries introduced with the version 2 of Manialinks.
I'll investigate while keeping you informed.

I couldn't reproduce it myself more than once (over a lot of attempts), but I found what seems(I'm actually 99% sure) to be the cause of this bug.

Let's say it'll be fixed in the next update, and do not hesitate to report if it happens again. By this time, you can bypass the bug by just refreshing the Manialink page and, unless you're very unlucky, you should be able to enter text normally.

So the refresh seemed to be the reason, why it suddenly worked for me

i can tell you that it is not only in the manialink....

today it also happened in the mediatracker. :O

Do you have any way to reproduce it ? Could you at least give me some details, like the entry which had the problem ?

Its just random. When i save entries and close the MT and open it again, the entries became passwords.

When you say you save entries, do you mean you add a "Manialink" track that contains entries ?
