What is the maximum speed that we can reach in TM? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9l698ooWJqw seems to show that it is 1000, but does the car actually goes faster than 1000 (i.e. the "1000" limit is just a display limit, but not an actually one)?

If there is no maximum speed, is it possible to design a loop such that we can reach an arbitrarily high speed?

I don't think 1000 is just a display limit, but the actual speed limit. Might be proven wrong tho

When you drive out of the mapping area, past all the mountains, you will find a loooot of space where you csn go at 1000 easily. Then all you gotta do is take a look at the distance you cover, which is shown in the lower right corner, divide the distance by time and voilá: you should have your average speed in m/s.
Just multiply with 3,6 and you'll see if it's around 1000 or maybe above.

Though I would too say, that it's the actual speed limit.
