Invasion was the most iconic ShootMania title made by community. Was the most popular fun mod that changed your look at game possibilities. Full servers, tons of Toads and highests pings you ever seen. Now nobody plays it.
As the creator I decited to make big move. Invasion evolved since its release. Many new features were added. But I think it's not enough. Mode is focusing on eliminating Toads. And that's all. Not much work to do, yep? Usual player can get bored after some maps. What's the solution?
I decided to make whole title again from far beginning. There's absolutely nothing except script and model now! "Wait, what? You mad?!" Well, no. I'm going to give my title second life and temporary leave all other projects i do. I got raw title pack with basic stuff and many ideas to implement. That's where you come in!
There is separate title called Invasion Beta I'm giving to everyone for free. Everything made here will replace original title in final stage. In some delay I'll be uploading new Betas with new stuff to test, improve or even remove. But I don't want to work alone anyway! I want to hear your opinion about everything here. Tell me what do you want to see, what do you hate most and how i can improve actual gameplay. Such as wishlist I'll catch your right ideas and try to complete them. Everyone that will give me any tips will be credited at end of this post and main menu of title pack!

As I said, I personaly think this mode is boring. So there are some goals for next generation of Invasion:
- More kinds of Toads (done!)
Let's sit in one place and count unique Toads spawning right now. Green, green, green... uh, all are the same. But it will change. First step to make this title is making main antagonists more random. The most basic improvement is adding weapon Toads - red long range super mega op sniper Toads with Lazor, semi-ranged blue bombastic Nuclear Toads and close-range yellow insane splashy Archer Toads. But that's not all! Rapidly blinking Gimp Toads are nothing but normal roads, but they count as two when touching pole - hard to notice them in bright areas and your nightmare if 2 points until pole limit reached.
- Punctation improvements (done!)
In solo medal score is no longer determined by timer only. Now we will use points, like in Platform. Each 1 survived second gives 10 points and one hit, item pick gives 1 point. Every armor you lost decreases score by 1 point. In multiplayer every hit gives 10 points, because giving all players score for time has no sense.
- Zombies (done!)
Wut?! "Toads" that follow nearby player and want to eliminate him. Really annoying, looking like usual green player. Appears after 35 classic Toads are spawned every time.
- Arrow no longer op (done!)
Oh no! The title pack sense is gone with Arrow rush removement. But really - Arrow and Nucleus don't regen ammo on hit, what forces you to often switch weapons. And remember that Laser regens 100% ammo on hit and can penetrate Toads killing one wave with one shoot. Rocket has usual 1/3 regen.
- Insta-reload pickup (done!)
The blue crystal you know from Platform. There was collectible, in Invasion refills Stamina and all ammo. Gives 50% reload bonus for a while. Uh forgot - you have 2x more stamina than normal
- Weapon powerup pickup (done!)
Every 30 seconds on map somewhere spawns gold crystal from Platform. On pick you got special randomly choosed custom made weapon for 10 or 8 seconds (need to decide later). Strike Toads with Hunger Games' Torpede, Plasma Grenade and more...
- New campaigns
Among old maps I'd like to have 5 on each difficulty level (black only one for big boss fight). Also reworking old, classic multiplayer maps to new dimension. Some snow, thunder, castle mods will be welcome.
- DominoLevel (done!)
What the... So, It's a personal ladder system in all my titles. Points you get in game increase your level to infinite. Every 10k of points gives next level + 100 points for each next one.
- Many other things
Custom menu, new music among old one, new maps, new interface design...
