I'm using TM2 Stadium. I downloaded two cars. One was a 3D model, it was in a .zip format. I also downloaded the locator file and kept that with the .zip. This one went into \Models\StadiumCar. The same for my skin, but it was a .gbx file. I kept the .loc with that one, too.

I have tried
\Models\StadiumCar
\Models\CarCommon
\Vehicles\StadiumCar
\Vehicles\CarCommon

None of those locations have worked. Yes, I have purchased TM2 Stadium. I have clicked on the .gbx file and that opens up the game, brings a dialog box up for a split second, then it disappears. I have checked all the way to the left and all the way to the right on my Models page, but the skin and model still do not show up.

Any ideas?

It´s recommended to use the "new" folder structure (it´s not really new^^)

[UserData]\Skins\Models\CarCommon\ for car models and car skins

If you don´t got a folder called CarCommon, just create it (Case sensitive is important here)

You can find your actual UserData (name can be different, how you named the folder at the install) this way:


Should work, if you select a model or a skin with a planet price you have to accept the payment and after that you can use it (a dialog box appears once the model/skin is selected)

And if you copy/download the files into your UserData specific folders while the game is open, just close it and restart your game, otherwise you will not see the new content

In addition to the above, the function to execute .Gbx is only working for tracks / maps

The directories are correct. They will not show in game. I have restarted the game, I have restarted my computer, I have redownloaded my files. For whatever reason, they won't show in game.

do other skins work? or it's just this one which is a problem?

If other vehicles are not work try reinstall game

Its really important what TMarc said. You can't just click on the GBX. You can choose your skin/model in your profile under "model".
