Hey Guys,

I have a problem with my car skin in TM2 Stadium. Every race the skin changes randomly. The car skin changes to Italian, Israel, then back to Netherlands (what it should be), then Thailand, etc. (just to name a few). It keeps on changing every time the maps changes on a server or when I log into a different server. But it also happens in single player.

The problem seem to have started after installing Trackmania RPG. So I completly removed the game from my pc and installed it again. But that didn't solve the problem.

I also tried it on a different (clean) pc. I have never runned the game on this second pc before. So I installed the game (only Trackmania 2 stadium, not Trackmania RPG). But get the same problem with the first race I start.

I can't figure out what the problem is. Anyone have any idea's?

If you have the demo version, that's normal.
A personalized skin is only available for the full game.

He didnt say anything about custom skins hes talking about the default skin changing randomly between maps

Also the choice of a "default" or "constant" skin would be a personalisation, which is not there for the demo version.
Btw. the game shows the same behavoir for local guest users e,g, for split screen or hot seat mode.

That's really weird in my opinion. I would have thought that, even though the free version doesn't allow skin 'personalization', the game would just set your car for the nation you select in the beginning. Random changes between nation skins is just plain odd and, if I had the free version, I think I would soon become quite annoyed!

Agree with that one, before Maniaplanet 3 this was exactly the case, I have no idea why Nadeo added this random skin "feature" which does not make sense to any extent.

yeah, it's rather confusing, especially for those who come over from Nations.
Propbably they did not think of that, and they simply made the random function overrule skins in general.

lol I didn't know this was normal for the demo version. I assumed I did something wrong.

Today I got report that even with the purchased version skins are changing randomly, e.g. when P2P and downloads are disabled.

Tmarc i was just saying. i dont know how the demos work. i have all four titles.
