[File system] Autosave filenames

Hi everybody!

I post it in the TM2 Suggestions area because I doubt that a FPS and a RPG have autosave replays :?

So...
I always get pissed off when I want to upload a replay to TMX on a track which has color codes. I go to my autosaves folder and what do I see?
Image
1.159 files and only this one is correct. And this file is amongst 463 other replays with color coded names and I am really getting tired of looking at every single name to see if it is similar to the track name.
My suggestion is that autosave replays shall not have color codes to prevent annoying situations like this.

I agree, no colour codes in filenames would be very nice.

I would say more : for files names (so also track files), remove colors and non ascii chars. Of course i mean the file name itself, not the track name.

Yeah, that would be awesome, to use the simple OS integrated search to find a track or an autosave.

And another great idea woul be, to add the profile name at the end of the autosave file. So you can sort after tracknames and then see the different times you drove with different profiles.

Track files don't have any color codes.

No. I think it is really good how it is now.

Just a tip (as Zooz advised): right click on the free space of the window, choose "sort by modification date", repeat. Then the most fresh auto saved replays will be on top.
It'll make your life easier. ^^

Sure, but what is, when you want to get a replay driven a year ago or so. And the replays aren't listed by track names, but after color codes or so?
Then you are doomed.

That's why we asked to remove the color codes in file names. If both Zooz'tip and could be implemented, it should be great. :D
