[EDITOR] Mood changes made easier...

All right...so here's MY two cents that I would like to see in TM2. We already have heard that they're not going to be putting the dynamic time-changes into the actual game... :-( But I suppose I can live with that. TM's been kickass already. But anyway, what I would like to see, potentially, is the ability to more easily change the moods...without having to re-mediatrack your replays or Ctrl+D at the track picking screens...cuz there have been one or two times where I get a track done, mediatracked, and the ghosts all set, and then I think...hmm, this would be better at night. And then I'm cursing myself for not thinking of it earlier...

If you want to change the mod and / or mood of the track in TMUF simply click it while pressing the Control button, go to edit and you can change the mood. That's easier than anything.

But the question was, to change it while beeing in the editor, which would make it a thousand times easier to test out this and that section with different light.
And this would be awesome.

Okay. But I think this is not necessary as you just have to save and re-open. Just ~10 seconds time difference imo

And? It would make the things much more easier or even faster (if i quote your ~10 seconds: if you work on one map and try different mood settings, then you can come up to 10-15 min which you loose due this issue in TM1). Do you know anything about usabillity studies? It's not about, how it is actual working, it's about how you can make it work even better.
So if some users think that it is this way better, then i can be better. And if nadeo reads this threads, they will see what users like and what not and maybe give it a go.

Meto...again, your enthusiasm is credible, but you're not reading my post. I primarily make "story tracks" long race tracks >3min. Not really online race material. I'm saying I'll get a track done, ghosted, and shot, and then think, "Damn, this would look a whole heck of a lot better if this race was at night. Or sunrise. Or whatever. But I just spent several HOURS recording all the ghosts for this track (because I like my ghosts to not collide to make it look "realistic" and it takes a while to coreograph the race) and then I have to start over because of a mood change...that's a lil frustrating to me.

But I guess the trackfile always has to be reloaded, when you want to change the mood. But also then it would be better if there comes up a small loadingbar and it needs some secs to do it in the editor than relaoding the complete trackfile manually.

I'm not sure, but if you change the mood now in TMUF does the AT get deletet and you have to drive it again?

No. Changed the mood on some of my tracks and that never occured.

So I can't see any problem there... sry
If you want it in another mood you can justn change it then, also if it's along track and the AT was good
