Cannot Connect to multiplayer due to trackmania not mounting

Hey all I have been trying my hand at this for hours on end and I was hoping for some of your GREAT wisdom and knowledge on this since I cant get any farther with this.

So I recently bought Trackmania 2 Canyon off of Steam, and installed it on my laptop. But when I go to play on multiplayer, it wants me to install the regular Trackmania 2, and after that it boots me back to the desktop saying it needs to restart to complete the process, but after waiting hours upon hours it did nothing. Anyone know what I am doing wrong or not doing? thanks

Sounds like you want to play on a Multi Server (Trackmania 2 titlepack means all 3 envis together). As far as i know its not possible with steam. (i maybe wrong here ^^)
You could try to install standalone Maniaplanet from https://player.maniaplanet.com/account/downloads
Just log in with your current Maniaplanet Account.
You should be able to install Trackmania 2 titlepack from Store.

This special title requires the standalone ManiaPlanet installation and valid licenses for all 3 titles Canyon, Stadium and Valley (I'm not sure if demo accounts can make use of this title).
