Cannot connect to server mp05.maniaplanet.com

Hello,
since yesterday I cannot play Trackmania oder even start Maniaplanet correctly. The games first says, that it's connection to the mainserver (or however it is called), then I have to enter my username and password, but then the game tries to connect to "mp05.maniaplanet.com" - and this fails. I tried it different times, reinstalled the game, disabled the firewall, but nothing worked. When I try to ping the server the ping is received and answered. So, how can I fix this problem? As the server status page says, there are currently no problems with the servers - but why can't I connect to the server?
Thanks in advance,
FlashTek

It seems that mp05 is ok http://maniaplanet.com/status. Please try again.

What is your anti-virus? Did you check out if Internet Explorer was not set as offline mod?

Do you still have issues to connect to your account? On our side this server is reachable and works normally.

If yes, contact the Ubisoft Support to help you : http://support.ubi.com

I tried it a dozen times, but it never worked. I am using the built-in antivirus solution in Windows 8.1, the Windows Defender. And the IE is not using the offline mode because I can connect to websites with the IE.

Then check very carefully Defender and whatever you use, if ManiaPlanet.exe is not blocked somewhere.

Also try to see if some ports ManiaPlanet normally uses are not blocked by different applications (usually ports 2350, 3450), they need to be open for both TCP and UDP.

To do so, launch a cmd window , and execute the following command:
netstat -na

There should not appear
0.0.0.0:2350
0.0.0.0:3450

And if it does, then please check which application is occupying this port.
Launch a cmd window as administrator, and execute the following command:
netstat -nab

Then everywhere there is :2350 or :3450 check the application name written below.
