Trees & Visibility : Low vs High settings. Unfair

Trees on low settings = You cant see anything.
Trees on high settings = You can see way way more.

Véry unfair if you'd ask me :). Not important in Race games, but in a Shooter where your 1shot counts, it's actually very important. Even competitive maps have trees on crucial positions to limit visibility.

Players with better hardware simply have an advantage.


PS : Please note that I wasnt even using the highest & lowest settings so Its actually even worse than illustrated here.

This is one of the only reason i play with high definition texture :D
But it seems normal to me. You can't see through trees with low definition texture simply because these are low textures. Someone having difficulties running the game is probably looking for a better fps rate than being able to see through trees.

(And don't tell you've problems running the game with high definition texture ! :p )

If i remember well, someone did a tp or mod in which trees had no leafs, that would solve partially your problem but not in Storm (unless you hack the game :mrgreen: )
