I am 3D modeling a car and I need instructions on how to import it into Trackmania 2.

I found these two websites

but they are hard to understand.

I need a video tutorial explaining step by step on how to name the objects and materials to get it to work in the game.

You might also want to check out ManiaPark, there are many tutorials.

We miss something updated for car import (maniaplanet documentation is not). Command line is now : nadeoimporter Carskin Skins/(folder name where you put your files)

With diferent sources listed by Marc you should find a solution. You could also a WIP in Maniapark and for help.

I don't see anything about how to make a car from scratch and get it working in Trackmania 2 which is what I'm trying to do.

Cars? I think meshes/items/models...

Did you look at tutorials posted on the community website, Maniapark?
