Matchmaking idea for Pracc / Training

Let's be serious : How much people here are complaining about the fac that in 70% of the MM games, there RQ or insult or afk or... (Lot of reason)

This is just an idea and if it's possible to make it, it would be interesting ... Very interesting

This idea would be to create an MM (like the others one) where only FULL teams are able to play.
Let me explain : In fact, in normal MM, generally (and it's also the same in other games like CS or LOL), if you are alone, you will play with random people. At the moment where you are waiting your match, some people are praying to play with serious people and not trollers, hackers, AFKers, etc...

So this MM will be only accessible by teams (the server can for example verify via clublink if all players are present) who are together since at least 1 week (to prevent mix or others things).

And maybe we can make an official ranking (title pack so :/) for all teams who play on, including the Ratio of Win/Loses, average team ranking, etc... (like HLTV do on their website).

Well it is just an idea, would be interesting to test it. If any programmers are ready to do it, just tell it. The game is actually badd so we can test to see how it goes :)

PS : It's like a ESL versus or ESEA ranking match on CS:GO.

Then we would have 2 empty MatchMaking lobbies. :oops:
Cups dont have teams so why would this matchmaking have teams?


The solution is :
- Have a penalty system that's fair
= Longer penalties ( 30min if you leave your game!! 1h if you do it again!! )
= No false penalties ( My team mate gets undeserved penalties everyday which is a giant waste of our time )

- Auto-kick AFK player instead of using a vote where a 5-1 ratio is needed. It takes 1 troll to press F2 and to make the game unfair.

- Improve balancing matches
It happens a lot that me & my ally have a really high rank and still we get the highest ranked 3rd player in OUR team. The opponents have all lower ranks than us. So tell me, how is that balanced? ( And no, they werent allied. )

- Add " Good Luck & Have Fun " to every start of a match in the chat. Some players need to learn some manners.
- Add penalties to rage/insults in the chat.

- Expand playerbase
- Create Team MM




Having a Team-Ladder is a great idea. Everything about it is great. The idea, the concept, the training. Everything. Unfortunately this game has no teams.

- Longer oenalties : I'm also ok with that and let's add 30 min to each quit (like cs I think but on cs it becomes days , weeks, months, years :D )

- No false penalties : We can't do anything about that. NADEO need to wake up about that. (don't remember if in the maniacode you can change penalties)

At the second maybe, to let the time to each players to connect

The prob is that the balanced system is based on the players present on the servers. And you know like me that there's not a lot of people so the system adapt . Let's wait more players ^^' (I know, a bit impossible right now but I expect always :p ).

For the GL & HF , I'm ok too but I don't think people will get a lot of interest. Trollers are trollers and haters gonna hate even with this words ^^'.

The database of insult is too much bigger to create penalties with that. Report for now is the beest option.

Expand playerbase = expand publicity ^^' ?
- Create Team MM = A bit what I say upper no ? :D

For the team ladder, there were ManiaCircuit by Drakonia but we got no more news since GA :/

I meant to say :
When we have more players, then ( and only then ) create this team matchmaking. For now its unnecessary.

Also dont forget :
All current MM-bugs will also happen @ Team MM.

We need a bug-free MM with correct penalties to:
A. Make everybody enjoy MM which results in more players
B. Decrease the insults and rage which also results in more players

I'm curious to see how NADEO will react to this overload of bugs or maybe they rather give us a 4th texture pack in 2016.

Anyways, ignoring these issues for a year is not the way to go. It's a big problem and it should be fixed ASAP.

Team Lobby already exist :
On an universal lobby, all the players of a match are selected by the players themselves. If a match needs 6 players to be played, you have to create a group and have 5 other players joining it. Inside the group you can select your team and once everybody is ready the lobby will find a server and send the group there.

B Well, I don't think it is a NADEO problem but it resort to community to act like this (and yeah, that's bad ...)


The NADEO politic to bring players run... for Trackmania. In fact (I'm here since TM Nations ESWC) the game, before, was like shootmania : Poor players, some people insulting, etc... It goes on and look today, I can't say the game is dead... in fact, he is more active that what people think. SM is starting too but cups already disappear (ESL for example...).

Anyway, let's wait some news like ESWC or CPS 3 ? :D

The Problem is that the matches get balanced by Ladderpoints and even for "not that good players" its often too easy to gain LadderPoints... I mean... I am Rank 32 at the moment...
It should be balenced by other statistics, like K/D, Wins or whatever. I think this would help at least a bit.

Just like HLTV does, or like cps 3 with the MVP points.

Anyway, Maybe a short test could be interesting to see what happen if with the poor people who are playing on there could be more enjoyment.
Maybe NADEO can open one, just as a test.

I also think that we don´t need that. Which team would wait on this mm for another full team for 2 hours? There are not realy that much full teams playing in the normal mm.

But what we already have is paragon leuage, where teams can play against eachother. And there is also a laddersytsem (even, if can´t see how good your team is in comparison to others (maybe paragon can do something like this :) ))

I know rq / afk palyers are shit, and destroy the fun, but don´t you think they would lose intrest in playing at all, if they have to wait 30 min or 1 hour to play again.
Also you have to think about disconnects. I had a pc crash yesterday during a elite match and were susbended after that for 2 min. no big deal. But seriously i would have quit and play something else insteadt of waiting 1 hour :teub:
In the end its just a game and no tournement. So just play with the players who left and hope next time nobody will quit ;)

pls keep in mind that nadeo conzentraiting on tm atm. I know its kind of sad but wait until nadeo will conzentrate on sm again ;) also the game is NOT unplayable, you can handle it ;)

Maybe this happen also in TM ? (dunno :D)
If they on one game, would be good if they fix it everywhere.
Anyway, I know that this is the TM year and you can't know how I'm impatient to see what NADEO reserved to us in 2016. But (as my opinion), just doing one game at a year is a really risky bet as they play with the number of players.

We'll see !
