Hey there

My actual problem is I bought a keyboard without numeric keypad so i can't anymore rotate custom object with "+", "-" and "/"

I tried to remap bind but this doesn't work,



So what i'm supposed to do ? the only thing i found is viewtopic.php?f=20&t=15444&start=10#p136879 where angry duck speaking about a detailled post for rotation bloc but i couldn't find it

At the moment there is no other solution than using some external tool, like AutoHotKey.
That's a problem I intend to solve, it's just not current top priority.
I'll keep you informed when there's something new about it.

So i asked my friend if he could help me out with this and he answered me like that

Friend : honestly, since the feature of rebind already exists for the others actions, I have trouble seeing how it can be that complicated to add to it
Friend: it's not like the guy had to create everything
Me: for Nadeo it's hard work you know
Friend: clearly too hard

I don't know what to say he is just in the truth from beginning to end...

And what if you get a keyboard with numpad again?
Is there any chance?

about that truth... from a engineers experience:
often individual users have good ideas or apparently simple looking issues, but to find a solution, to implement a fix or a new feature for those few users, has often much more effort compared to the actual benefit for the majority of all the others.
It is always difficult to make everyone happy with the least possible effort.
At the end, it is the matter of priority and capacity in the team.

Changing key bindings should not be that hard to implement.

Apple user can't rotate object too right ?
