Mapping Competitions

Is NADEO involved with mapping competitions? Does it support mapping competitions in any way?
Why?
First of all FPS games are different from Race games. I think FPS-maps last a longer time than race-maps because you need to learn so much more and then there's all the different strategies. ( Note : Im not saying race games are easier, just different. ) So it's important to have some real quality maps.
Second is that if NADEO helps it instantly will become more "official" and everybody will instantly be more motivated/interested.
Third is that they have more funds than us.
4th is that we have been playing the same maps for a very long time and eventhough a lot of cup-admins are trying to push new maps :
A. They are rarely remotely good enough
B. There are even less mappers than there are players.
So maybe with the help of NADEO somebody ( or NADEO themselves ) could organise a mapping competition with polls & a small prize ( or not ) and the TOP2-maps might become official in the future.
It's just a late night idea to wake up some players/mappers to create some maps. Cheers.
