Hello everyone i would like to get peoples thoughts on the Joust 1 day cups i am planning as part of the UK FPS Gaming Lans i am Organizing.

1 Day cup sign up is now open people so sign up and lets get playing. Planned for 20TH December 2015.

First prize pool amount: £52.94 ($80), 2ND:£26.48 ($40), 3RD:£13.24 ($20)

BO3 all the way till final which will be BO5. Game to determine third place is BO3

Coin toss.

for BO3 - pick pick, drop drop drop drop, pick.

for BO5 - pick pick, drop drop, pick pick pick.

Maps: Ride the hill, Tangled , Watch Your step, Alleys, Brightside, DuskDuel, NightGlider.

Nice to see that there's still some people like me who believe in SM !
When you say 1 day cup, you want to run cups as ESL does or for an all day ?
Maybe see with paragon esport if they can make Something, I know that it is planned to add joust for their cups

Not sure what ESL team runs, this will be a 1 day cup that starts about 14:00 or there abouts most likly on a saturday or sunday till its done. Not sure on prize pool right now abut there will summit there to Joust over.

These 1 day cups will be streamed and maybe cast to.

Revival of joust?

Sounds indeed very pleasing, LordSoth. Joust is one of the most demanding game modes where no mistakes are tolerated. I hope you can realize your project.

DAMMIT ! That's a lot of money for one personn !

So a logical question is coming : How long do you think you will run the cup ? (I mean in month, weeks, etc...)

Its in dollars. Hope to see once a month maybe more, people can donate to the 1 day cup if they like. This will help a lot.

Also i do run UK FPS gaming lans, These will happen twice next year at least and i am thinking of doing a pure Shootmania elite lan next year to. There will be tournament held with up to £1500 prize pool maybe more.

Uhm... A bit hard to do a lan right now, as the majority of the team are french (maybe you plan to do it in France and in this case, it is perfect).
For now, just try to run your cups online and if you see that a lot of people play, then let's talk about lans, especially on this game
