Posted in the French Trackmania forum, there is a online petition to have the "old" beloved environments as titles in Maniaplanet.
Nadeo has already shown with Stadium that it is basically possible.

Although I personally have no problem to discard Desert and Rallye since there is Canyon and Valley,
it is of course not the same, and it would give more diversity and more possibilities in Trackmania².
Perhaps it would not bring all TM users to Maniaplanet, but the chance and the count of players would definitely increase.

This is just a bunch of children in France having a joke, right? In a childish attempt to ask NADEO to undergo a huge mass of work, they set up this petition and then allow idiots to insult NADEO in their comment area.

Unlikely, simply because we prefer to focus on Maniaplanet instead of looking backward.

I honestly doubt that bringing TMU environments to Maniaplanet would be good idea. Two very important aspects have already been mentioned. With TMT coming up and Maniaplanet 4 being scheduled for 2016, there's already enough work for Nadeo - porting environments (even if it might sound like simple copy-paste work, but it isn't) takes a really long time and a lot of work, which wouldn't even pay off in the end. Why? Because the TMU community is already extremely small - who would pay for the same environments again if they already own them with TMU? Here we have a very similar issue to the TMNF - TM2 Stadium discussion.
It would for sure bring a few new people to Maniaplanet, but again - would it be worth it? Maniaplanet is already being in a "crisis" considering player amount and activity. Having another 6 (!) environments together with the three (soon 4 with Lagoon) TrackMania² environments, it would just lead into an oversaturation in Maniaplanet.
Personally, with three environments I'm honestly occupied enough. Actually, I'm not even motivated to play United anymore. After more than 7 years of playing the TMU environments, I wouldn't really welcome a re-release of the 6 TMU environments just for the sake of having them in Maniaplanet. It would just be...too much?

I don't want to say anything disappointing, but with current engine vehicle parameters Nadeo is not able to import United Forever cars, due ManiaPlanet lacks most properties specifying for example DesertCar double wheel driving. (As far as I know.)

I am honestly fine with United as it is now.

Alone only the idea from players Nadeo should TMU-Envis in Trackmania2 bring is a clear sign that something very wrong is with TM2 !!!
