Investigation #1: Arrow was already available in pre-alpha?

Hello! 
I started looking back in time and noticing some details that we have missed before.
So, I've been watching pre-alpha showmatch of Hylis vs Spdy in Joust gamemode. But I noticed something that caught my sight - in one moment of the match, Hylis is standing on a block similar to flat castle wall with wooden fences and fires 10 bullets of weapon different than Rocket and Laser. These bullets look like usual Rockets, but have today's Arrow fire sound and look like they're falling down. Sadly, Spdy haven't used this block in the match at all and it wasn't possible to see weapon from shooter perspective. At that point I'm not sure if this block is a weapon platform or something else.

In case you wonder why I'm writing this post, I just like searching for small details and sharing my curiosity with you.
If anybody knows anything about this weapon (probably development state of Arrow), just let us know!
