Once upon a time there was a popular gamemode for a short amount of time, Headquarters.

Entirely free for all, a map would contain several goals and one would be activated randomly. Players would chase each other around to capture each active goal.

If you weren't good at the game, it was fun just to participate in it.
If you were good, man it was a challenge as everyone is trying to shoot you if you are ahead of the game.

I remember one map being called 'Gridfences', but I also picture many maps that just look huge with poles all over the place, then I realised that these maps were for a certain type of gamemode

I think, this game mode was called goalhunt but I can be wrong, it was 2 years ago.

Long time ago I also made a crap gamemode inspired by Goalhunt: Tornadohunt. Really.

Only difference is marking pole with Tornado instead lights only
(And no ability to touch previous checkpoint to get fewer points)
