I know I have been really though on you guys back then (mostly last year) but now I have to take out my hat and say kudos to you guys at NADEO, the Beta has been a success and a lot of rather popular youtube channels are making videos of it and getting the game to be more popular, so I expect the release to be great!

You might be asking why I made this topic, it's because I'm very impressed by the feedback the game is receiving, and all of the videos are saying great things about Turbo and that is extremelly important to help with the popularity of the game, not even TM2 had such feedback on Youtube back on it's Beta stages.

I agree with OP. It's been really really really cool to see how many people are actually playing Turbo, discovering Trackmania for the first time, and loving it. This is really exciting, to hopefully see a lot more players soon! For that matter, I think opening the game up to a large audience with the open beta was a really good idea.

TM2 also had a lot of promotion via videos and look how it ends

I'm giving TMT 2 months, if it will drop to 300 peak, I will not buy it.

But mate, do you know that, if everybody was like you, the game would have 0 players ? Because nobody would have wanted to be the first player ? Imagine a new video on youtube, and everybody says "I"m gonna watch it when it reach 1 000 views at least". But if everybody does like this, it will never reach 1, even if the video was worth 1 000 000 000.

Actually we don't know which impact TMT will really have.

On PC, sure, we have had many different TMs already, so nothing really new.
But on consoles, it might be a blockbuster. Not as serious as car simulations, not as "dangerous" as GTA series, still funny enough but not as childish as e.g. Mario Kart or Sega Sonic.
I only fear that TMT users will rather be disappointed of the lack of shiny blinking stuff in Maniaplanet

But let's wait for the release and the first months before we tell anyhting about its future
