I've learned we can still save replays. Hotkey: "R" while driving. And we can access replay editor/mediatracker from main menu (hover over top bar), click the settings cog icon... then access "replay editor". So rendering out replays and screenshots is still possible. yay!


And we can access MediaTracker for "in-game" and "ambiance" using the classic track editor. A decent compromise.

I thought this wasn't going to be possible at all. I really thought MediaTracker would be gone completely. I can see why it's somewhat hidden, as it's impossible to use with gamepad. But I'm so glad it's still there for us PC users. Thanks Nadeo!

This a good implement indeed and I'm really happy it made it in the game, but the flaw of it is how it is integrated in the game, and I'm sure that the top bar isn't known and available to reach from a lot of people out here.

But if there's one flaw I want to point out, is the ability to record a ghost from inside the mediatracker. This button mysteriously disseapeared, and I can't justify why they removed that feature. I use it really often, in example for taking pictures. And the lack of that pushes to record several separate replays files, to import all of them after in one replay, and save it. Hoping for the next patch to see it back again...

Depht of field doesn't work or what i make wrong?

This function isn't integrated to the game very well.. if you make a great record in the Campaign, you need to start again the track and press "E" for save the previuos race, because if you press "R" in the "finish" screen nothing happen.

So careful if you make a good time, try again the track and press "E" for save the last one.

Beside that, i have an issue with the video shoot future for the saved raplay, i selected resolution and framerate, format (AVI), clicked on OK and nothing happened... how this work?

I had this same bug.

What I did instead was saved the replay with the cams I wanted. And then exited replay editor, selected replay editor again, and instead of selecting "advanced editor", I just went to "shoot video". That worked for me.

On advanced parameters "Duration" is 0 on default. So you have to change it to whatever seconds you want to record first else it wont do anything

You managed to save a replay? I have hit the button and it never saves. I actually posted in case this was a bugged part of the game before this post was made. Was it in Multiplayer or Singleplayer when this happened?
