Hi all,

Since few days I noticed the online ranking and the solo ranking are the same. When you do the campaign you win places on the ladder but when you go on online you have the same ladder but haven't no ladder-points... And you can't win LP when you beat players who have a ranking under yours, it's really annoying because you can't win echelons. I am 2553rd on the world, I play since the release and stay on the 1st echelon This problem seems to affect other players because the highest echelon I've seen is the 2nd and there are a total of 9 echelons...

Why you do not 2 separate rankings ? A solo rank and an online ?

When you're going up the echelons, you have to find lobbies with a similar level like you. With myself being on echelon 4 for example, I won't win any points if I play on a lobby with an average echelon of 1. It's kinda the same system as in TM2.

Sorry for the off-topic but I take this occasion to ask : Am I the only one for who the custom items in the garage that needs a echelon upgrade to be unlock don't work ? Because I'm echelon/level 2, so I upgraded 2 times my echelon, and I still have unlocked none of these items, they just don't work, I can't unlock them...

Yes, same issue here. I've mentioned in my feedback thread, so hopefully someone will have a look at it.

If I understand you correctly, you mean that we win LP when we win against players who has the same echelon or higher ? I thought the percentage of echelon depends of the ranking of the players you beaten. For example, if you win against a 2000th and you are 2500th you win 2% for example.

Yes, correct. Obviously you won't win any points if you win against people of lower level, so have to play with people of your own/higher level to advance in the ladder.

In Steam a user asked how the calculation was working, as apparently wins of medals also change the ladder position. Or did he not look properly?

Medals seem to be the most efficient way to improve your ranking at the moment. Right now I got 179 Nadeo medals (and so 179 bronze, silver and gold as I'm not advancing to the next track before the Nadeo medal) and ranked around 140 World. Played a bit online (just enough to reach echelon 1) and it almost didn't make any difference.

I feel the opposite for me, online makes me gain many positions, while campaign makes me gain maybe 20 positions
