Disable any further creation of free accounts.

Why?
From all the free accounts, 95% are idiots with their 2nd or more account that either ''smurf'' around and insult like crazy or test cheats. It was stated free accounts would be a thing until a certain date, but that obviously never happened.

I do feel bad about those other 5% (not even that) that want to play the game for real without being a dick online, but oh well. There's a huge player amount that never got the chance to play with a free account anyway, if I knew the situation would've been like that, I wouldn't buy Canyon, Valley and ShootMania in the first place, as 1 title already gives you full power over your account and the rest can be played as much as I want.

I know people are gonna hate me for saying this, but frankly I don't care as I'm tired of joining servers where you see random free accounts from Pakistan with Keine Beschreibung or Chinese with Pas de description in their profile just insulting like crazy and picking on players that are beginners.
How can you expect new people to stay in this game if they get completely demolished online by random idiots that just can't use their own account and do such things.

Tbh I fell like these are more the 5%. Ofc they attract way more attention, but they aren't that much after all.

Also these players mostly also insult with their main accounts as well, so it doesn't even change that much.

But ofc it sucks and it's a big problem but on the other hand the bad effects on disable free acounts would be bigger than the good effects. In the end we are not in the situation to risk, that no more new players come to the game .

Make the game €4.99 with no free accounts.
Or make the demo limited again like it was before.


Anyways ... a solution for these smurfs should be found asap because it's ruining the fun for everyone :s

mobile authentication like valve is doing for csgo in a main account. and matchmaking with only authenticated accounts, but yea, not enough players.

maybe chat should be allowed in a limited number of entries when in free account, so the funny guy would rather either use their main either be limited in their impact.

I don't think this could be a solution, because new players ( not-smurf ) who join the game for their first time could be disapointed that they can't ask more help, and they'll maybe don't know that chat is limited?

Maybe something like freezone or special MM servers for new players where there is one pro-player ( or approved players by community/NADEO ) in each team who could help players and detect smurfs while in game.

The sad fact is, a lot of these so called ''pro'' players are usually the ones doing so. Would make sense if free accounts would cap at 50k ladderpoints, thus disabling them the chance to enter 100k MatchMaking server.

Some kind of FreeZone would also make a bit sense, but not with the every 5th race / match is waiting, not that. But ladder server owners could choose in server settings if free accounts could have access or not. (70k+) Also an option would be to give specific logins permission to play, but that would eventually get abused if people have connections or such.

That would automatically get rid of a lot smurfs with the exception of the few individuals who bought more accounts for the same purpose, but that's a rare case.


Edit: Disabling votes for free accounts would be a useful feature too, as there are situations you get forced in spec / kicked / banned for just ''interrupting'' their personal match on a public server.

That's the best idea for now. Disabling chatting for free accounts will not be a good idea if the user is a new player and if he ask for some help.

If you think that to limit the free account to 50k ladder points, this quite not of an issue to do it. If you think the limit should be a little higher, tell me as well. I would rather see 70K or 60K.

Id rather see 30k or even 10k.
