Hello everyone,

From May 10th we’re modifying the Shootmania Elite trial, free players will be able to rank up to Echelon 5. Current free players above this echelon will be put on the Echelon 5. For players above this limit and who want to keep their ranking, we encourage you to convert your account into a paid one.

The decision has been made to improve the game qualities at competition level.

Thank you! I'm very happy to see this happen, thought some might get mad about it due to expecting full experience with a free version of a game, which a majority never had the chance to experience themselves.

Can echelon5 players play on Paragon MM?

Edit : yes they can.
Requirement : 40000LP & 100wins.

Requirement is 60k Ladderpoints + 100 wins.

Open the serverbrowser, click on the server and you"ll see it.
So demo users can still play on MM...

Humm, was surely 60k once. Guess that can be changed as elite has a lot of players above 60k.

I think NADEO took this decision because demo-users should be able to enjoy as much as possible of the game (including mm ) = logical.

On the other hand : If demo-users are allowed on MM then basically nothing changed and the problem doesnt get fixed. These troublemakers simply cant rank up, but they dont even care about the rank.

They don't care about their rank, but they usually play on MM so they potentially ruin other peoples rank, which is even worse. If you lose vs 3 pros with low LP you lose quite a lot of LP afaik.

You make a valid point ( and I fully agree with you ) but we need to look at the bigger picture : Demo users should be able to enjoy MM as well.

So yeah... As I said, for me , this is just the 1st step into the right direction.

They should not be allowed on the MM tbh
Or create a only gold MatchMaking and keep an other one for silvers + bronze.
