Hello guys. Months ago I started and finished creating a new sign pack for your maps using metallic arrows, symbols etc.

I think I'll post it here since the german subforum doesn't attract other members to read and give feedback of my signpack.

Contents:
- Arrow Signs
- Logos (including TM Turbo ones)
- Speed Limit
- GPS
- Obstacle Signs
- and more

in five different sets:

Silver

Emerald

Sapphire

Ruby

Obsidian

Click to download the .zip file.
Then put it into ...\ManiaPlanet\Skins\Any\Advertisement. I suggest you to create a new folder for my signs to avoid some mess in your advertisment folder. :P

Have fun with my custom sign pack. Give your feedback here. :)
Your Sparkster :pil

I can see you have put a lot of work into these and they look really nice.
A lighter background on the Obsidian group might have been good though. I don't know if they are harder for other people to read or not but they are a little harder for me. However, I am partially colorblind and similar tones like that are harder for me to distinguish and may not be for the average player.

I love the names you've given your groups too. I use to collect minerals including obsidian near local volcanoes.

Thx demented and OwenJ. Let's see what I can do for the Obsidian Set.
And Oh... I didn't know about your colorblindness. ;)

Update for the Obsidian Set.

I have adjusted the curves in GIMP to make a lighter background. (mentioned by demented)

Oh wow, that was quick! That looks great to me. Much easier to see. I hope it looks better to others too.
People are often surprised to hear I'm partly colorblind because I enjoy working so much with graphics and photography. I see enough color to appreciate good workmanship and your signs really do look nice to me. An interesting thing that most people don't know is that while colorblind people can not or have trouble distinguishing certain colors they are often able to see things that people with normal vision cannot. I found this out during an eye test and was shocked. Because of this I do try to be careful with my opinions on colors.
Anyway, back on topic, I like the texture patterns you have chosen and we can always use some new/good graphics to spice up the scenery.

Yea, they all look great to me.
There are a lot to choose from and the variety of styles is good for various track styles. I think you did a nice job. It would be nice to hear from someone who sees the full color palette too.

Those are the ones that I can't distinguish too, as well as Blue/Purple. I often look at the number values to tell.
