Please help me fix trackmania2 stadium video settings.No matter what I set in launcher every fucking time I launch the game settings are fucked.The bloom is on ,car details high, maximum fps 150..I have been trying everything.

what exactly is dead in your videos?

in your videos only or ingame too?

He means the videosettings (graphicsettings) ^^ did you enable in the launcher, that you can configure the game by yourself?

basically I launch game go to my video settings turn everything to low restart game and after that bloom is on fps max is 150.

This seems to be a bug of the Trackmania Launcher. For some reason it loads the wrong config files and not the ones it configured itself. I encountered this bug myself a few weeks ago and I found a workaround.

My approach:

• create a link or shortcut to 'ManiaPlanet.exe'
• right click on the link or shortcut -> go to 'Properties' -> 'Link' or 'Shortcut'
• the value of 'Destination' should look like this:

  Code: Select all

  C:\[...]\Maniaplanet.exe

• change it to

  Code: Select all

  C:\[...]\Maniaplanet.exe /userdir= %USERPROFILE%/ManiaPlanet /config=Default.SystemConfig.Gbx /useexedir /StartupTitle=TMStadium

heard you couldn't fix this on steam? Tried this still doesn't work.

Yes, I performed a fallback to the steam-external version.

However, it might be possible with the steam-version though. It's just that you must not start Trackmania from Steam then, but only from a custom created shortcut. (Or from the command shell, which is in fact the same, just more nerdy.)
