TrackMania is a game series which surely shaped my teenage years in a big way. I'd love to experience TM and TM Sunrise again, but StarForce is a big hurdle. Is there any way you guys could release versions of those old games without StarForce DRM like the Forever patch did for TMU?

Unfortunately you posted your question in the wrong forum in general, and also in the wrong subforum, therefore moved to off-topics.
In the TM Forum there are already lots of topics about how to run the older games e.g. on Windows 7.

Please try to understand and to accept that there is not any support anymore for the old and totally outdated games, and it does not matter how great they were at that time.

Besides this, many players are eagerly waiting for updates of Maniaplanet (especially continuation of new Trackmania and of Shootmania).
The development team is more than busy with the new stuff, and they can't spend any time on old stuff.
Also they have to look forward, even if this means to disappoint a few people.
