Hello,

I set the graphic settings to the maximum but ingame it looks like low graphic settings (most noticable because of the really low resolution textures), the graphic looks way better on my friends computer.
Any idea how to fix this?

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
ATI Radeon 4870 512MB
4 GB Ram
Vista 32 bit

Have you checked the "High definition" setting in the config launcher ?

Yeah it'schecked, also if I uncheck it the game asks me if I want to load the high definition files and when I click yes nothing happens except that the box is checked again if I restart.
So maybe there are some High Res texture files, which can not be downloaded by my computer somehow? If so, can someone give me some alternative download links if there are any?

Try to update the drivers of your graphic card

I have the same problem with my GeForce 8800 GT. I think the old graphics card probably cant display the HD textures. Would be glad if someone could prove me wrong

I'd be glad to do so!

I'm playing TM2 nearly maxed out (car reflexions low, no AA, no Bloom) on a 8800 GTS with the even older G80 chipset. Should run fine on your GT.

Maybe your drivers are outdated?

Maybe you misunderstood me, the game is running just fine but even on max settings the textures look exactly the same as on medium. I just can`t get those supersharp HD textures and I would love to have those for screenshots

The plants and the mountain in the back are all blurry and thats on max Settings.

Same problem for me, even though the textures are looking even worse on max settings than on that screenshot.
Got the latest drivers.

Made a topic about this a week or so ago, and still haven't figured out the issue.

Running ATI 5870. Might end up trying my brothers 470 and seeing if it's an ATI issue.
