I think from players perspective, nothing was changed in competitive modes.

Of course the blocks glitches, physics bugs, graphics/audio problems and engine-related issues, it's been fixed specifically, only and exclusively for Elite game mode, other SM modes still have these bugs because they will never be as important as the one and only Elite mode!
