Forgive me if I have missed a thread or something easy to find on this subject and please direct me there if so.


I have never skinned a car in any of the trackmania games so I am a complete Noob, and was wanting to give it a try for canyon.

Is there a walkthrough available to help me learn?

I'm no skinning expert by any means, but I can help you out with a few things (I use GIMP so if you use photoshop you might want to look elsewhere.) However, this tutorial is what got me started, and if you look around trackmania-carpark.com's forum, they have a host of good tutorials, and even one on working with the alpha (shiny) channel, which was a big pain in GIMP until I got it figured. Hope this helps, and don't hesitate to PM a member that has skin creations up either here or on Carpark if you need some help

Skinning is the same as the last game so you can still use their tutorials.
